Buddy Love Cookies was born after the loss of our family pet of 16 years. A yellow Labrador Retriever that was a bundle of trouble and personality came to us as a puppy not long after the loss of our Chocolate Labs passing (Brown) where we never thought we could ever love another. We were wrong. Buddy was a handful. Curious and playful and full of life. He brought joy back to our hearts and home. A beloved companion to my brother who he referred to as his son, Buddy and John spent the summers at the lake house and he enjoyed jumping and swimming in the lake so much that it was impossible to get him out without bribing him with a treat. His last year, I spent taking care of him while my brother was ill and our time we spent together was priceless. It was then where I started to focus on what treats he liked and developed a recipe that was simple that he enjoyed. Buddy was insatiable and he always wanted to eat, especially treats. So with much thought and love, Buddy Love Cookies was created. Since Buddy's passing, his love and presence was so great that I found myself searching to interact with other dogs I saw in the neighborhood.  As we all spoil our pets and buy things for them with the utmost care, I thought it would be a blessing to start making cookies for other dogs and to spread and receive the love that only dogs provide unconditionally.

I now market my cookies to dogs in the area and online and have found a new love and passion for spreading my love for Buddy and sharing it with other dogs and being blessed with the gift of love and healing in return.
